We strive to ensure that our virtual telehealth services, online content, and digital scheduling tools are fully inclusive and align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

Telehealth & Virtual Service Commitment

As a virtual-only mental health practice, we recognize that digital access is the only gateway to our care. We intentionally choose third-party software, electronic health records (EHR), and communication platforms that offer robust accessibility features.

Our core service platform utilizes SimplePractice for scheduling, intake, billing, and secure video sessions. SimplePractice is designed to accommodate screen readers and provides digital environments engineered for broad user accessibility.

Ongoing Digital Efforts

To maintain an optimal experience on our website, we implement the following practices:

  • Alternative Text: Providing descriptive alt text for clinical or imagery content to support screen-reader users.

  • Keyboard Navigation: Ensuring all menus, forms, and buttons can be operated completely without a mouse.

  • Consistent Structure: Organizing website text utilizing strict, logical heading levels (H1, H2, H3).

  • Color Contrast: Utilizing high-contrast text and element backdrops to maximize visibility.

Current Limitations

While we strive for perfect digital inclusivity, some elements managed by external providers may experience temporary limitations beyond our direct programming control.
